IELTS WRITING

Writing task 2 (UAE)

Some people believe that adults get motivated to exercise and play sports because of the major sports events on TV such as the Olympic Games and Football World Cup. Others say that there are many ways apart from TV to encourage them to exercise. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

Writing task 2 (Canada)

Modern cultures around the world have become similar as compared to the past. What are the main reasons for it? Is it a positive or negative development?

Writing task 2 (Australia)

Nowadays we can see definite signs of surplus production in almost every industry sector, and this is leading to environmental damage. What are some possible solutions to this situation?

Writing task 2 (South Africa)

It is important for all towns and cities to have large outdoors spaces such as squares and parks. Do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Writing task 2 (Nigeria)

More people today prefer to live alone in comparison to the past. Do you think it is a positive or negative development?

Writing task 2 (India)

Nowadays many people want to buy famous brands of clothes, cars and other items. What are the reasons for this? Do you think it is a positive or a negative development?

Writing task 2 (South Korea)

Some people believe that price is the only consideration when buying something. Do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Writing task 2 (Indonesia)

Some people say the government should spend money on providing faster public transport, while others believe the government should give priority to other factors such as cost and the effect on environment. Do you agree or disagree with this statement?
