Essay body 1 –
Topic sentence: Плюсы от получения новостей через радиостанции:
Examples:
(1) новости на радио обычно подаются в коротком формате, что делает их удобными для восприятия и не занимает много времени.
(2) новости на радио можно слышать довольно часто — возможно, ежечасно, что делает доступ к новостям легким.
Essay body 2 –
Topic sentence: Преимущества получения новостей по телевидению:
Examples:
(1) визуальный аспект, который возможен только на ТВ — эффект от новости сильнее, если она сопровождается «картинкой».
(2) новости на ТВ имеют более аналитический характер, что помогает понять суть ситуации лучше.
Conclusion –
Мое мнение — новости на ТВ имеют больше эффекта и раскрывают новость лучше из-за более глубокого анализа и визуального сопровождения. Тем более радио постепенно теряет популярность и доступно ограниченному кругу людей.

In modern society, among various sources of news some people choose radio; others, however, claim that TV news provide a better understanding of current events. Both viewpoints will be considered in the paragraphs below in order to express my opinion.
There are several advantages of receiving news via radio. Primarily, radio news are usually presented in a concise manner to hold the attention of listeners. This makes the news transmission rather efficient because the communication of the news message is carried out within a short period of time. Another point in favor of radio news is that such news shows are more frequently aired than those on TV, which opens easier access to information on current events.
By contrast, the proponents of TV news assert that TV is a much more effective instrument in reporting news. Without a doubt, TV adds a visual aspect to news, which journalists heavily use as the major instrument to enhance the effect of a news story on viewers. Furthermore, TV news shows usually tend to bear analytical nature unlike radio news, which certainly can paint a more detailed picture for news recipients who may want to obtain a deeper insight into the situation in question.
To wrap up, I would support those who believe that TV is a better tool for getting news because TV uses visual and extended factual aspects that considerably improve the quality of news. In the modern era, radio perhaps is the least popular type of mass media that is losing audience due to its inherently limited means of communicating information, including news.
