Introduction – перефразируем тему и кратко ответим на два вопроса: (1) Why is this happening? и (2) Is this a positive or negative development?
Essay body 1 –
Topic sentence: Причины, почему это происходит:
Examples:
(1) во многих странах роли мужчины и женщины в обществе стали равными, и поэтому многие женщины выбирают карьеру вместо ухода за детьми, но это не означает, что они не любят своих детей.
(2) мужчина может оказаться более полезным в домашних условиях – например, умеет готовить в отличие от жены или может работать из дома.
Essay body 2 –
Topic sentence: Это хорошо (мое мнение):
Examples:
(1) отцы делят обязанности по уходу за детьми, которые одинаковы для обоих родителей. Это помогает женщинам не прерывать свою работу и использовать свой активный возраст для достижения профессиональных целей.
(2) уход за ребенком со стороны отца помогает обоим установить более тесный контакт, который может улучшить взаимопонимание в будущем.
Conclusion – Укажем главную причины (ответ на первый вопрос) и свое отношение к этому явлению (ответ на второй вопрос).

More and more fathers are choosing to have a paternity leave in order to look after their children. This is mainly due spreading gender equality and several other practical reasons. In my opinion, this behaviour has positive effects for childcare and family relations.
Firstly, it is important to understand why men choose the role of caregivers for their children at home instead of women. The primary reason for this is the fact that in many parts of the world the social roles of both genders have become equal, which makes it common for women to avoid interruption in their careers due to a maternity leave. On the other hand, some men deliberately want to engage in childcare because they possess better household skills, such as cooking, or because they could have jobs that can be performed from home.
Despite mixed opinions in society about this phenomenon, I believe it is still a positive trend. It, first of all, means that fathers provide critical support to their wives in childcare, fully accepting the fact that rearing a child is a responsibility of both parents. In this way, women become more empowered as they may continue pursuing their professional self-actualisation and use their active age to achieve career goals. Moreover, studies show that such approach improves bonding between fathers and children as the latter in general spend limited amounts of time if mothers are primary caregivers. By having a paternity leave, men take a more active part in early childhood development tasks, becoming emotionally closer to their children for years to come.
In conclusion, as gender equity is becoming more common in many countries, more fathers engage in childcare even during the first years of their children’s lives. I believe that this has positive effects for both the relations between parents and the tigher bonds with children.
